The Plumtree Marketing Academy is hosted on a platform that follows a standard procedure of using log files. These files log data about visitors when they visit websites. All hosting companies do this and this is a part of the hosting services’ analytics. The data that is collected may include information such as your computer’s Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, browser version, pages of our website that you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages and other statistics.
This log data is used for analyzing trends, administering the site, tracking users’ movement on the website and gathering demographic information.
Cookies and Web Beacons
Like many other websites, the Plumtree Marketing Academy uses “cookies” to distinguish you from other users of our website. Cookies are files with a small amount of data that are sent to your browser from the website you visit and then stored on your computer’s hard drive.
These cookies are used to store information, including visitors’ preferences and the pages on the website that the visitor accessed or visited. If you have been referred to our site by a member of our Affiliate Program, cookies will be used to associate any purchases that you choose to make from our site with the affiliate who referred you.

The Plumtree Marketing Academy does not knowingly collect any Personal Identifiable Information from children under the age of 13. Given the fact that our courses are meant for business owners and other professionals, we consider it unlikely that children would choose to fill out one of our contact forms and provide their Personal Identifiable Information to us. However, if you think that your child provided this kind of information on our website, we strongly encourage you to contact us immediately and we will do our best to promptly remove such information from our records.
The Plumtree Marketing Academy website and all of the personal information which we collect about you through this website is hosted on the Kartra platform. From time to time we may make backup copies of this data and store these backup copies outside of the Kartra platform as well.
Kartra is an “all-in-one” platform that hosts all aspects of the website, including forms, checkout pages and the “members-only” area from which our customers access our courses. It also provides analytics; email marketing; the ability to “tag” those who have provided personally identifiable information about themselves when they complete certain actions, such as watching a video; our affiliate program; and more. All of the “back-end programming” that powers the site, and all of the data security for data stored on the site, is provided and maintained by Kartra.
